I quickly learned that writing an idea on paper was not so hard. Making it come to life… not so easy. I found the perfect location and began organizing my thoughts into action.

One of the first people I spoke with was Elly Wells. Her company Elly Wells Marketing + Project Management has helped me spread the word and continues to attract business nationwide.  Elly - a forest landowner herself - was intrigued with what I was doing and jumped in with both feet.  She felt this blog would be a great start to get the word out about what I am doing and why.  As far as I could tell, there were two potential stumbling blocks: Finding the time to pull this off without harming my business, and building a kiln. I am lucky to have two brothers that have worked with me for some time and are a great help.  They allowed me to concentrate on making this happen . . . now to figure out how to build a sterilization kiln!
